A GREAT OPPORTUNITY
In February, 2016, GHC was able to purchase 3.75 acres in an ideal location for a church building. It keeps us in our current neighborhood, is on a well traveled crossroad, is surrounded by numerous homes, and is zoned for a church building. Since that time a team has been consulting with engineers, architects, builders, and our ministry leaders to develop a facility that merges three priorities: Functional for purpose; Attractive to the neighborhood; Affordable for the Grace Hills Church family. The following presentation should give you a thorough idea of the plan.
A TOOL FOR THE MISSION AND MINISTRIES
We are grateful for the years we have had at Gray's Woods Elementary School. The teachers and staff have graciously accepted us as Sunday renters. But as we have progressed, our need for a permanent location with 24/7 availability for ministries and activities, designed to be suitable, continues to increase.
ROUGH COST ESTIMATE
Between 1.6 and 1.8 million dollars. The estimate will get more precise as details of the plan are completed. Our finished value should well exceed this estimate but we are able to defer significant costs due to the many experienced professionals who are donating time to the project.
We are currently in a time of prayer and commitment toward the funding of this facility. Our best hope, if God confirms the timing by inspiring donors, we plan to begin construction in Fall 2018 and be in a completed facility by Easter 2020.
